Review on ⚡️ Enhanced Search-Optimized ThinkFun Electric Circuit Logic: Current by Ben Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good idea, poor quality and execution.

Bought for my 10 year old son. Judging by the description it looked like a solid product. However, after trying to put the first few "circuits" together, we found that they didn't work. First I had to make sure the (+) and (-) on each part were correct. didn't work then. He pressed harder on the blocks and the light came on. That's when I noticed that the contact points between the blocks weren't making good contact at all. In addition to issues with the blocks themselves, some are misplaced and fall off the board, others fall out randomly. There is no way of knowing which block is causing the "circuit" to fail. Needless to say my son and I are both disgusted with it after a short while. Since then I've seen a few other plug-in style kits similar to this one. Snapping the pieces on top of each other instead of placing them next to each other solves the contact point issue I think. We can try to buy one of these kits and see how they work. As for this, my advice is to stay away. it doesn't cost any money, the product doesn't work reliably and causes even more frustration.
