I quickly received the necessary float and, having removed the old one, I began to install it in the tank. The float "does not work"; The switch seems fine, the cable is fine, but the float is sinking! I quickly sent the device back and ordered a replacement. Again, I received the replacement quickly and tested it based on my past experience before boarding the tanker. The new float sinks too! This appears to be a design flaw and the weight of the 24 inch line is enough to sink it. I will no longer buy from Madison!
