I'm an engineer and I own several distilleries. The distiller I received didn't distill the water properly. In addition to following the temperature instructions, I tried to use the scientific method to see if I could fix the problem. My theory is that the temperature sensor is not working properly. Distilling water for this amount of water should take several hours, the model sent to me boiled the entire kettle in about 45 minutes and left no residue. I also use a mega home at home which takes a more reasonable time of 4 hours and about grams lag. This burner literally just boils the water without removing the toxins, if at all the heat creates more toxic chemicals. If you decide to buy this burner, follow the instructions and still see NO RESIDUES, I strongly recommend you to go back. Perhaps my point was just an isolated issue.
