Got this paired with a branded immobilization belt for my 9 year old. He fractured the top of his humerus, but only adult bandages were available from the hospital and orthopedic surgeons, and they were small and not very comfortable. When used with an immobilizer belt, it slips a little more than the one block the hospital sent home, so we used it for the day belt. The strap is much softer and more flexible than what it originally had, and with two wrist straps to keep it in place, it didn't snap the wrist strap like the original. We've had the sling for 9 weeks and the velcro still works great so I'm happy with the purchase and recommend the product.
