The plugs matched the tail light plugs on my Nissan Maxima perfectly. As other reviewers have pointed out, the trickiest part is connecting a separate 12V DC power cable to the battery. On my car, it was fairly easy to run a wire under the internal firmware from the trunk to the dash fuse box. Choose an empty spot with at least 10 amps and install one of these fuses with a pigtail making a fusible link. Choose a fuse socket that is powered by the ignition and make sure you insert it in the right direction so the fuse is aligned. Much easier than trying to find a way through an engine bulkhead or running a cable under a car wherever there is a risk of damage.
