THIS IS THE BEST MARSEL/STICK/DISK I'VE EVER USED! I've been using a Marcel iron for many years and the room got so hot and it was so bulky. So I went in search of a great Marcel iron. I started with "Marseille #1 selling irons in the US" (that's the tagline, I won't mention the brand but it's so well known and so cheap). My hair didn't hold its curls, after 2 hours it was straight again. Then I thought, okay, I'll invest some real money and buy one of those fancy white gold-rimmed Sephora ones. Not Marseille but my hair was styled nicely but flattened by the end of the day. I did this search about 6 months and 8 irons later. I've tried the cheap ones from Walmart, the fun barrel shaped ones, NOTHING. Then I finally found SAM VILLA. This Marseille is amazing! I was worried it wasn't going to get hot enough because he said he was getting 410 but HOLY WOW. The low setting was hotter than other brand 450Fs! I used it for 2 weeks and never had to go beyond the minimum setting. It has 3 settings: low, color processing and high. To give you an idea of how hot it gets, I can squirt some water on it on a low setting and the water will sizzle. It keeps my curls for days. It feels good in the hand, the Marcel Clip is so well thought out that it also holds the thickest cuts. It has a 9ft swivel cord, extra Marseille locking handle and the best part is the removable Marseille clip that turns it into a magic wand. 2 great irons for the price of one. Make no mistake, it's worth every penny.
