I rarely leave reviews but I gotta love this product. It does exactly what it is supposed to and does it perfectly. I've included a few photos (with and without the lights on) so you can see the difference. I assume there are many similar products in the price range but I'm very happy with my choice. It's great to have a weighted base and clip (which can be swapped out). The base is heavy enough not to shift and tip over. The clamp is very strong and has good rubber/silicone grips to ensure it clamps securely. As an experiment, I attached it to the edge of a thick table with rounded edges and only a half-inch gap. I wasn't expecting it to be attachable at all (with such a small clamping surface, but it did and certainly did (at least as a temporary fix). Everything about it is well built and engineered. I'm not surprised reviews overwhelmingly all 5 stars. I only recommend buying it if you have a hobby or job that requires attention to the smallest detail from time to time (or regularly) I wish I had bought something like this 10 years ago and I'm glad this product is available now. And one last comment, it's great for my neck and back. You can literally sit up and see a lot more than you could (without a magnifying glass) if you bend over when your face is only inches away away from your job.
