I have purchased two candle gift boxes, one from this seller and another set from another seller. I thought they were selling a different set but turns out they are the same. I ended up keeping a set after sniffing the candles rather than giving them both away as I really liked the scents. I haven't finished any of the four yet, but the Lavender burned for about 15 hours total and is still a little over half. full. Lighting a candle near an open window or draft can shorten the life of the candle, so keep this in mind. Often cheap candles suffer from a lot of carbon as a by-product (gunpowder) because they use inferior wax. Because these candles are made from soy, they produce very little or no carbon. After an hour of burning, my bedroom was lightly filled with the described aroma. A few hours later, the adjoining hallway and living room also filled with scent (I live in a 1,000 square foot apartment). Impressive for the price I paid and typical of much more expensive candles. My favorite scents, in order of preference, are Lavender, Freesia, French Vanilla, and Rosemary. Some friends, also sniffing the candles, argued that the French vanilla and rosemary should be ranked higher, but to each their own. Smells are subjective so be aware, but overall there isn't a bad smell in this kit.
