tried to use an ice blade on some cubes and the blades got stuck in the cubes almost immediately. Because they couldn't turn the motor, they chewed through the rubber teeth on the underside that the blender uses to move them. only turned it on for a few seconds, but the damage was done. My only conclusion is that the rubber part on the bottom is not up to standard as the blades that came with my magic orb lasted for several years.
