I use this daily to freshen my bangs. Sometimes humidity makes my bangs crazy so this really helps. I carry it in my bag and I can do touchups as needed without the hassle of a full-size straightener and cords etc. I am not sure how well it would do for whole head straightening- maybe good for fine hair? I have thick hair and it did my bangs no problem. It gets pretty hot, I just think because the plates are small that might make doing a full head of hair a little more time consuming- that's for long hair. Short hair could probably be done faster- heat is NOT an issue. I have a trip coming up and I can't wait to take this instead of my big full-size straightener. Seems to hold a charge pretty well. I only use it on my bangs: 2 min tops at a time. I typically have to charge it every two days.
