The LED dome light produces a bright light that is a vast improvement over the 1960's factory lighting found on our vintage Willys vehicles. The wires are probably 26 gauge, which is too thin - should be 22 or even 18 gauge, which works properly with standard crimp connectors. I soldered to be safe. The small thin metal mounting clip is very poor and the mounting screws are useless due to their poor metal composition. I used steel bolts that actually bite into the ceiling structure. There should be a way to rotate the mount itself rather than an unnecessarily flimsy mounting plate. If you have your hands and are willing to tinker a little, this is a good buy.
