Review on 🚗 Classic Vehicle Mechanical Automata Project by Jeff Dabney

Fun build kit and since I've built it (3rd or 4th) I consider it a complete success. However, it was the first kit to rely so heavily on toothpicks to hold everything together. The "image" instructions won't necessarily tell you the full story of why you need to leave them whole and when to trim them. In the end, eight pieces of wood were left, held together with a single toothpick. Sometimes it's eight! It's really hard to avoid breaking eight toothpicks while trying to put everything together. However, the final product did everything it was supposed to do, so I'm happy and learned a lot about the kits. I will completely stay away from kits that use toothpicks to assemble, that's for sure!
