My wife loves red wine. Not me. We are poor too. That means when we open a bottle, it has to do one of two things. 1) Drink it all at once. This leaves my 90 pound wife in a pile on the bathroom floor. No pleasure. 2) leave open. The cheap things we buy go bad as hell. She's either drinking stale wine or making sangria. It was a good cheap vacuum that worked well and reliably sealed bottles of different sizes. My wife can enjoy a glass a day all week long and doesn't feel guilty when things go bad. Not to say it saved my marriage or anything, but it's a nice little addition to our kitchen.
