Review on 🔧 Scosche ST2430B Black Dash Kit: Perfectly Compatible with 2008-10 Smart Fortwo Passion/Pure ISO Double DIN & DIN+Pocket by Jesus Samaddar

I've just been playing around with this kit for over an hour and I'm not done yet. The faceplate looks good, much better than the Metra, but it doesn't fit perfectly in its opening, not a very important issue. I have trouble with cheap flimsy plastic radio mounts. They had to be made of sheet metal to securely hold the double DIN head unit. I modeled everything and adjusted 3 times, when everything is tightened the head unit is just flimsy and moves slightly. When I press the touchscreen, the brackets flex and the device moves. Unfortunately, it looks like all the mounts available are the same as that cheap plastic junk. Metra has an advantage here, at least they didn't forget to cut the mounting holes on the brackets mentioned above. I spent a lot of time with a knife beveling slotted holes.
