Not handy unless you really need them and this is a wannabe

In the snowy country when your hands are cold and unwieldy with gloves, luckily slide this thin black strap through the plastic slot and then the slot with a buckle that fits snugly at the top. See my photo. The original design in the manual shows a different design, so someone copied the original.
