These little things aren't "easy" to install. But if you are reading this review, you already know that. So good. Works and looks high quality. The rubber is flexible, not hard. The only thing that makes it "work" is to put a small key in a small slot. Then thread the impeller into the pump housing by pushing the ribs inward. Stop when you reach alignment with the key. Then insert it straight into the impeller shell and align the key. After that you need to install it. It's not difficult. but it's not easy either. You can do that.
