Review on 🟠 Ladder-Max Orange Replacement Tips: Enhance Safety with 2 Tips Per Pack for All Stand-Off/Stabilizers by Brad Arthur

A few drops of super glue is a good idea.

The detailed instructions supplied state that the tips must be immersed in boiling water to expand to allow them to slide on the stabilizer tube, which is equivalent to a mechanical press fit. However, the stabilizer tip appears to be looser than the original design, and the tip can be slid on with two fingers with little to no pressure. In the end, as you probably do when climbing stairs, the tip can be torn off. According to Murphy's Law, this happens at the moment when it is most difficult to find the lost tip. To prevent this from happening (again), I put a few tiny drops of cyanoacylate glue in the tip before pressing it back into place. I also removed the remaining original tip and added a few drops of glue. This works well for keeping clues in place.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
