I need a phone holder for wireless charging. I kinda knew I had several options to make it the least intrusive by just using its main body. The block itself, as expected, would never have made it to my car in its original form, and there are two reasons for that: #1. It's intrusive and #2. vibrates due to the weak construction. I never expect things to be designed my way and that's why I still got that, but obviously I had to change it. For this mini project I used my previous mount which I still think is the best out there but misses wireless charging - LOGI by Logitech. I had to change it before trying to connect the wireless part of the new one to it. All in all I got what I wanted for $50 and made one for each car. I am happy with the end result. Can I recommend it? It depends on each person how much he cares about the details, how much he cares about the cleanliness of looks and performance. To be able to hold and charge the phone: It holds my Note 20 ultra, which also has a heavy case, so we're doing well in that department. Easy to put in and take out your phone. It even charges through the silicon/rubber cover. I don't know how the current flows but it holds my charge during use and that's basically all I wanted. If I wanted to charge faster, I would plug my phone directly into a car fast charger. This wireless connection only adds to the convenience and is very important to me.
