Review on Danco 46004 REPLACEMENT HANDLE Chrome by Colton Scheehl

We bought these to replace some of the old ones that a were similar in style and wore out over time. They looked the same, and since they were versatile, we tried them. They work, but who knows how long they will last? Pros - Enamel looks good. They are of good weight and the enamel and chrome are well polished. The nylon pieces that attach to the bar come in a variety of sizes and include a universal adapter with screws for tightening when all else fails. It also comes with many different screws in each thread and length. At $15, that seems like a pretty decent value. minuses. As others have said, their system for checking which nylon adapter you should use is flawed (we've done all kinds of DIY and it wasn't very well done, but no big deal either - it just took more time). Few of the adapters are marked with the measurement system (probably 4 out of 7) and the one I wanted wasn't even included (we bought two pens and one of them was 2 out of 4). In fact there are marks in the kit and in the other it was 3 out of 4) although there are 7 different nylon adapters. It took a while and when I thought I was the right size he stripped off and proved it was the wrong size (even bigger lol). Some of the enamel on the back of the handles was already chipped (it was the same on both handles) which was disappointing but no one saw. The enamel had some minor imperfections, but nothing particularly noticeable. While it seems like I have a lot of complaints, they're actually pretty good. They seem to work, but when I need a better solution than a nylon adapter, I go with the universal metal screw-top adapter. And even if it fails, I think a cheap trip to the plumbing store will fix everything, so it's not a bad buy, it could have just been a smoother install.
