Review on ⚡️ Solar Panel for Arlo Pro 2 and Arlo Pro | 7.5W High-Performance Charging to Ensure Sufficient Power | Not Compatible with Arlo Ultra and Arlo Pro3 (Silver) by David Romo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All in all, it keeps my Arlo Pro 2 camera charged.

My main gripe is the U-shaped bracket. It s cheap! The two side screws that attach to the solar panel are small and easy to remove! To easily install the U-shaped horseshoe mount, it's best to unscrew the solar panel from it, BUT you risk loosening those two screws. If you do not remove the solar panel from the U-bolt, it will be more difficult to drill the U-bolt into the mounting surface. You have to work through, under and over the solar panel, which is cumbersome. I didn't want to risk disconnecting the patch cord from the solar panel for fear of not being able to plug the connection back in properly. Once I got past this difficulty, the U bracket seems to be holding the solar panel. Those small screws on either side don't tighten properly. This may affect the placement angle of the solar panel. Suggestion: The two side screws should be larger hand screws with ribbed grips so you can remove, reinstall and secure the angle of the solar panel to the sun. I don't want to be completely negative. This solar panel works perfectly and fully charges my battery! Also: some people have asked if there is a longer extension that can be attached to increase the length of the mount. It's 11.8 feet long, which is longer than many I've looked at, but having that expandability would be ideal as long as it doesn't get in the way of charging capabilities. One last thing, please don't forget to charge this solar panel as it has built-in battery as you will see when you receive it. I placed the panel under the light in my house with the switch off, the light was a few feet away and stayed on the panel for a day or two just to make sure it was operational before installing it. I don't know what the rating "Frank" means in relation to the rating. But the panel height is a bit taller than most panels I've reviewed. The company sent it to me very quickly so thank you. It works great!
