The legs are of good quality except for cars.
These are high quality flat roof bars but they did not work properly on my 2008 Subaru Outback. A design conflict between the legs and the factory roof rails prevents the crossbars from extending far enough and the front crossbar far enough forward for bike racks to be used without hitting the sunroof when it's open. Although I would definitely recommend it on most other vehicles.
