Organic cotton tea towels are a great start, but the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification convinced me to buy this one . GOTS assures me that the environmental processes and any dyes used are also pure. This is the world's leading textile processing standard for organic fibers and I am gradually converting all my cotton products (sheets, towels) to GOTS. It defines requirements along the entire supply chain (from the fiber to the finishing) for both environmental and working conditions in the textile and clothing industry. They are beautiful, soften with washing and absorb well. Highly recommended.
