Get an MHL converter instead!

After trying Screenbeam for a week, I gave up and tried the MHL converter and it was great! It connects your phone directly to your TV with perfect picture and sound. Don't spend $46 on a screenbeam when you can get a hassle-free MHL converter for $12! My Screenbeam review is below. I received it today and am using it with my Samsung Galaxy S5. Setup was easier than I had hoped. 1,2,3 as indicated. Initially, there were no problems, but after about 20 minutes, delays began to appear, accompanied by pops and crackles in the sound. When it got annoying enough I checked to make sure it was plugged in tight but found it very hot. I turned it off and let it cool down. I tested it with video and games so when it cooled down I tried basic web browsing but it overheated again. I ordered an HDMI adapter so I can run a cable from the TV to get the screenbeam somewhere where I can try to keep it cool and closer to the phone even though it was only 6ft from the TV when I tested it. Given the overheating, I can understand why some of these things don't work. won't be long.

Pros
  • NO WIFI NETWORK REQUIRED - ScreenBeam Mini2 creates a dedicated wireless connection, which means no crashes, lag, choppy or stuttering video, delivering Full HD picture quality and very low latency.
