It's garbage! They can't stand the cold!

I like the concept and implementation. But now I have TWO of them - both of the same model. BOTH broke within 5 minutes of use during or after a snow storm here in Maryland. The plastic they use seems brittle right away, or they need to reinforce weak points. Seriously, they WANT to work - and I want them to work. But both broke on first use. See my photos. Even the screw securing the head turning knob rusted after just a few days of our most recent fall.
