My friend somehow forgot to clean the lint filter in his dryer for months. I moved in with him and upon attempting to make my first load found that it was completely filled with lint to the point that the trap itself got stuck in the dryer. I managed to get it out and clean it as best I could but there was still a lot of dust inside that I couldn't get rid of. I bought this and it soaked up all the meanness almost immediately. The only thing that confuses me is that the flexible hose makes a horrible whistling noise when you twist it the wrong way round.
