later So there are two things I really didn't like about this: 1) The bottom sometimes separates from the top if it's not tight. This caused me to drop the spice-filled bottom half a few inches (luckily catching most of it) and I thought the design here was poor quality. 2) When you squeeze the handle, the grinder moves a lot, making it difficult for you to get the spices exactly where you want them. I didn't find it very useful and didn't find it as good as my round pepper mill. BUT. On the other hand, it gives you some pepper to start with (already pickled) and, more importantly, allows you to reach the product easily and with one hand. I would consider this for an elderly parent, for example - until I first filled the coffee grinder and tightened it perfectly, I could see it being attractive to those who didn't have much arm strength or had arthritis in their hands.
