This is a good blender for beginners. It makes good smoothies - not very smooth, I have to run mine twice, but I don't mind because I didn't know if I would use a blender enough to invest in something like the Vitamix. Pros: It's a blender. . power blender. It makes my morning smoothies. He has a glass bowl. It is very easy to use and understand. I was better then. Sounds like I fired up a little jet engine every morning to play on my counter. It makes a trillion noises to let me know everything's ready. With what. Why? Who doesn't know that little jet engine bouncing on the counter has stopped? Things get stuck between the bottom rubber seal and the cup, good luck getting it out. Not even a toothpick helps. The plastic seal on the buttons has already come loose and it seems I've covered my whole face in my grandmother's sofa covers. Not pretty. (I've only had this item for 3 months and have used it maybe 25 times). The handle is already released. When I rinse the cup, water gets stuck behind the handle. I'm glad I live in a very dry environment, otherwise I would have very noticeable mold. I feel like the whole thing is unsanitary with all the cracks and crevices where dirt collects and is not meant to be cleaned. I've experienced this several times at this company. Do they use their products in a real kitchen? I like being able to deep clean my equipment so I don't die from salmonella. All in all, this blender mixes things up. It will do a mediocre job, loudly and slowly creating a layer of debris in hard-to-reach places. I'm saving for the Vitamix.
