My phone case was opened too wide at the bottom, but I didn't want to return the item because it is very well made. Also, the lanyard is soft and doesn't scratch your neck (like cheap ones). So I applied a 4 inch strip of tape to securely attach the nylon patch to the inside of the phone case. It works great and no one can see the tape! I could probably use heavy duty glue (like E6000 glue) instead of tape. but the ribbon was closer and should not have dried. 🙂
