Review on πŸ’» Microsoft Surface Pro 6 | Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD by Tommy Willis

The only Windows device you need!

Okay, maybe I was too excited about the title, but listen to me. I had a SurfacePro 4 and had been using it for over 2 years when I suddenly became a victim of the "Surfacegate scandal". It accidentally refused to boot one day. All my data lost. Wait. Not me. Everything important was stored on my installed SD card. Apparently, this model has a big problem. In any case, I liked the versatility of the SurfacePro4 so much that I immediately started saving for the Surface Pro 6. It's not cheap. But it's beautiful, adaptable and so much fun! When was the last time you used a device that made you smile? (No, bunnies don't count) I have a Core i5, 8GB RAM option, and it handles anything I throw at it with ease. I use it for photo editing (Gimp), MS Office, website building, web browsing, Youtube, movies, music and light gaming (Hitman Absolution). Not once did he stutter. A pen is essential if you like to draw and so on. I personally use it for signatures and dot marks in emails and photos. Pros: - Very responsive screen - Speakers have excellent clarity - Great battery life (I got over 6 hours with light to moderate use) - Good build quality (although you'll want to get a case for it if you want to avoid scratches) - Great functionality like in tablet mode and laptop mode. Cons: - Physically, it's not easy to hold in one hand like a tablet unless you have a case with a strap (See Targus and Joy) - Lack of ports (only one USB 3.0 port and one mini display port) why people Why? - The stand is great, but it's pretty sharp if you use it on your knees in shorts. All in all a great 2-in-1 device for working and watching media on the go.
