Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Pyle-Pro PDMIC58 with 15ft XLR Cable to 1/4'' Audio Connector - Black, 10.10in. x 5.00in. x 3.30in. by Nikki Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The microphone is fantastic. The cable goes in the trash.

5 stars for the microphone, 0 for the cable. If they upgrade the included cable, even if they have to add it to the purchase price for Revain, OR remove the cable entirely and leave you to buy it separately and bang $2 or $3, I'd upgrade it to 5 stars. As the name suggests, the mic itself is well above its price point. But the cable that comes with it is terrible. It makes a lot of noise and does NOT get loud enough for real, proper use. I don't even keep it as a spare cable, it's that bad. Consider another $7-15 for the XLR cable when purchasing this microphone (PDMIC58). My favorite cable that I have used and recommended for years is the Rockville XLR-XLR cable, which I connect to my audio interface. Even with the extra money for a better cable (a MANDATORY one), this mic is definitely worth the money. I bought it to eliminate background noise (The Loud House) and it's a massive improvement over my old condenser mic in that regard and surprisingly even the clarity/quality of the overall sound which I wasn't expecting.
