I have worked with many drills and drills in my life and have never had a drill as quiet and smooth-running as this one. Some other reviews have said this drill will not cut through metals, but I've had no trouble cutting the silver jewelry I work with. A little wit and sharp drills go a long way. Just take the time you need to work and don't try to cut through a thick sheet of metal with it. I highly recommend this exercise (for proper application and as part of using proper reasoning).
