Buyers beware of the best battery testers

Tested on an old battery which I thought should be replaced and it showed 8 percent so I bought a new battery and when I got home, I decided to test the new battery. and it registered 30 percent and said "replace," so bottom line is it's a faulty unit or junk. I followed all the instructions and the machine was turned off during the review.
