Review on πŸ‘“ NRS Lightweight Short-Sighted Glasses for Nearsightedness - Not Reading Glasses by Marcus Powell

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Ideal after cataract surgery.

I am 71 years old, have worn glasses since I was 5 and am very nearsighted. I have opted for implants, which make me somewhat short-sighted but save me from having to wear reading glasses. My doctor agreed. 4 weeks elapse between the last eye surgery and the receipt of a new prescription for glasses. Although I was able to watch TV and drive normally with the two new implants, I figured $15 wouldn't be that much for glasses to improve distance vision. My doctor recommended me either -1.50 or -1.75. I ordered -1.50 and with these glasses I have almost perfect distance vision. I take them off to read. They're pretty comfortable. Of course I will buy a new pair, fancier transitional lenses, bifocal for reading with glasses etc. but these can be used seriously and more permanently. Great find! I changed it from 5 to 3 stars. Shortly after I posted this review, one of the side arms broke at 2. There is another company on Revain that sells two pairs of goggles for $20 and these goggles work just as well and are much better constructed.
