I misunderstood the product information as similar products were available. There are no electronics inside to make it a working remote control. If you don't take the insides of an old keychain and stick them in here, then this probably isn't what you're looking for. will return it. Not sure how to actually rate this, gave it 3 stars because if you read it carefully it says there is no electronics but it would be better if that information was more prominent. Also, I could not fit my old key fob's electronics into this one due to the difference in internal design.
