I had an old bed frame that was causing my spring and mattress to slip off. I saw the reviews and decided to buy this frame (king size). I will say it's nice to know that my bed won't slide on top of me when I get up/get up. It was pretty easy to put together and probably took around 20-30 minutes. The instructions aren't very clear, but if you look at the pictures it's pretty easy to understand. You need a box spring because it's fairly low to the ground (if you don't want to), but even with a box spring and mattress, it's a comfortable height for me (I'm 5ft 2in). My only complaint is the storage space underneath. You can tuck something the size of a shoebox or smaller under the frame, but otherwise you won't be able to fit much stuff underneath. Overall a great frame for the price and pretty solid. :)
