The audio jack is defective. The output sends the sound of the floor, when the plug is moved I get a mono signal and that's it (with the sound of the floor too). Tried different cables, even straight into my ears - same thing. Also on my box were traces of a previous opening. How do I get a replacement? Update 11/25/20: Tech support contacted me again and they were very responsive, offered to send me a replacement (on the way) for which many thanks to them! I will update again once the replacement arrives in my hands. Thanks again! Update 03/12/2020: A new converter has arrived, but I still have the same problem. I'll check other sources before blaming the converter, although the audio jack still doesn't fit properly. Tendak support was very good, they kept in touch with me all the time to solve my problem. I will keep you up-to-date. Last updated 12/07/2020: I tried another HDMI source and couldn't get the audio to work properly so they decided to give me a refund. In my case, the HDMI signal is perfectly converted to VGA, but I only get mono audio and background noise in the correct channel. This can only be me as I see more people here saying it works for them idk. I would recommend it if it works, even then I would recommend it if you're just looking for an HDMI to VGA converter. Tendak support is great, they trust their products and did everything they could to try and solve my problem. Thanks very much!
