CMT is an industrial blade. I've been using them in commercial equipment at large manufacturing facilities for many years. These blades are way better than anything you can buy at a big store or local hardware store. Carbide is better and lasts longer. The blade is significantly stiffer and does not bend when cutting close to the edge. They are quiet compared to the standard blades that come with your saw or replacement blades that you can buy locally. They slice through melted butter like a hot knife. They won't splinter wood or leave cuts, so they don't need to be sanded. This is the only one I buy for all my saws.
