Secure GPS mount in GPS system accessories

I have previously purchased a ProClip vent mount for my Forester and it is a great mount but quite expensive . I also have an Outback but unfortunately the vents are not the same. I wouldn't spend money on any other ProClip mount. A few years ago when I had a smaller GPS I bought an air vent mount off EBay and it was a great mount. Thinking I would have the same success with a larger GPS, I bought a similar vent mount. I couldn't be more wrong. The fan mount with a large GPS (TomTom Go 600) was extremely unstable. This mount is in the trash. I then gambled on a GPS mount for the CD player, knowing full well that I wouldn't lose much money if that failed too. I will tell you that this mount is solid as a rock. No GPS wobble when driving on rough roads. Because it snaps into the CD player slot, the GPS is clearly visible so you don't have to look down to see the map. Your radio will not be disturbed either. If you hate suction cup mounts, buy this mount. It's inexpensive, comfortable and durable.

Pros
  • CD blade mount fits most standard car CD players
Cons
  • Weight
