I think it was a defective product. I have .

I think this is defective. I've been using Turbie Twist for years and never had a problem, they usually last for years. However, this product appears to be very poorly made - the elastic was worn out, torn and eventually fell off of these towels within a few weeks of use. Each one only seems to last a few weeks before breaking. Also when the towels arrived they were not 4 colors as described but 2 blue + 2 pink.
