these were bought to try. I wanted to see how they would fit as outerwear in muddy areas where I would be working and sweating. The material is stretchy enough to wear a second layer underneath if needed. The pockets are good but I wouldn't put heavy items in them. The seams appear to be loose, as do the straps (which I think are just for show?). Straps are a good idea if you want to attach buckles to them to make carrying lighter items (plastic knives, gloves, masks, things) easier. You want them within easy reach, but you don't have to carry them all the time and don't want to just toss them in your pocket. all are ok for the price, let's see how long they last lol
