Who doesn't want their scissors to be sharper? This is a solution. Now all my claws are sharp and will remain so. ADVANTAGES: - The sharpening angle in relation to the scissor blade is fixed, so you can't go wrong. Snip it a few times and you'll get great results.-- You can open them wide to get almost to the hinge, and with a gentle squeeze you can sharpen both blades evenly. BUG:-- You can't remove the stone, so when it wears out, the tool becomes useless. But I might not live that long, so that's a bit of a problem. Also, this thing is only $6 or $7. But it would be nice if the stone slot was covered with an adjusting screw, for example, so that stones could be changed. - This is done so that the right-handed person sharpens the right scissors, or vice versa.
