I didn't like this item, my scissors were sharpened hard but they didn't sharpen. That was the reason I bought this product.

Based on the reviews and the cost of "professional" sharpening, I decided to try this product. My husband sharpened two of my hair scissors and they cut like new. Our hair (daughter and I) came out so dull and neat. I'm so glad I have something to sharpen scissors without having to spend the extra money on new scissors.

Beware of products whose packaging is not visible. I just received it today and was shocked to see the warning on the back of the package (see photo 1 on top of package). Cancer and Reproductive System Warning! If you care, don't buy. I didn't realize that the ad didn't mention packaging, so I'll be more selective in the future. Comes from China. I'm considering returning or throwing away because I don't want to knowingly jeopardize my health.

Nice to have sharp scissors again - in fact I have sharpened all the scissors around the house and every time I use them I am amazed at the difference. I've wiped all the scissors I've sharpened at least 10 times and often more, but I'm not sure if that was necessary.
