My child will be taking these to school to use with school computers so it is important that they are connected, easy to use and inexpensive. They match on all counts. When I tried my hand at music I found the sound to be clear with a good dynamic range. Isolation from external noise is decent (don't want it to be too much for this use). As with many wired headphones, when you touch the wire, the noise is transmitted directly to your ears. It's annoying, but probably not their fault. I particularly like the built-in volume control, which is a simple slider that works directly with audio without changing the volume on the laptop (as it should). as comfortable as any headphone and comes with 3 sizes of ear cushions. The two earbuds aren't marked R and L and they definitely fit the ear. For school use it doesn't matter, but if I plan on listening to music on it I would work on figuring out which is which and then label it for myself.
