Do not twist these ice cube trays.
No need to spin them at all, use the lidded bowls that come in the kit. When you're ready to take out the ice, turn the bowl and lid upside down and submerge under water from the sink. This will release each cube, remove the lid and then each one slides out easily by pressing on the bottom of the tray. It takes quite a bit of patience. These are great ice cube trays.
