Review on πŸ’‘ Tripp Lite TLP1208TELTV 12-Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 8ft Cord, Right-Angle Plug, Tel/Modem/Coax Protection, RJ11, & $150,000 Insurance - Black by Elizabeth Reyes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best surge protectors were created.

20 years ago I bought 6 of these Tripp Lite models for myself and friends as gifts. As far as I remember they sold for about $18 with a huge discount. At that time, dial-up Internet was still alive for many people. To be honest, each of these surge protectors are still in use today. All of them. I've been asked several times over the years if they need to be replaced because they're so old, and I've been told that all surge protectors "wear out" over time. Garbage. Trip Lites are not. I still trust my 20 year old unit with all my AV gear. I bet it lasts another 20 years. It might even outlive me. Rschunimagu. You can pick up a Belkin or something else for less than half the price, but don't be fooled. Mine has survived 20 Kansas storm periods and has been connected to over $25,000 worth of electronics over the years.
