Review on ๐Ÿšš ZEROXCLUB WX02: Waterproof Wireless Backup Camera System for RV/Truck/Semi-Trailer/Box Truck by Rodney Gonzalez

good but not perfect

My previous $60 wireless backup camera worked great until it gave up the ghost 3 years later. Looking for a similar camera I found this one on Amazon and thought it might be a better choice as I can use a different camera in my RV. I installed a camera above my truck's license plate as a backup camera. The other is mounted on the back of my 16ft RV. For use as a backup camera, I wish I didn't have to use an antenna as one of the reviewers mentioned in their review. Unfortunately this is not the case for me. Without an antenna I only have 2 signal bars. When reversing my truck, the 2 second lag in the image makes it very frustrating to use. Luckily the camera itself has 3 pre-drilled holes and different brackets so I was able to mount the camera over the license plate with the antenna attached but still managed to get the tile off. With a 4-band signal, there is almost no lag in the video. Mission accomplished! On the back of the trailer, I found that to get 34 divisions, the antenna had to reach all the way to the roof. With the rear mounted camera and antenna raised above the roof, I got 34 signal bars during the day. Time. At night, however, the single fortress drops to 13 bar. When driving through the forest, the picture constantly freezes and sometimes the screen goes black. Not sure if it's night vision or temperature. I highly recommend checking the signal first before drilling any holes. At least 3 bars is the minimum for stable signal transmission. All in all a good buy. The seller is very helpful. I would give 5 stars if the signal was a bit stronger.
