True 720p pico projector but the picture is "brilliant "

TL;DR: A really quiet 720p pico projector at this price point is rare. I love that it's basically just a projector: no internal battery, no USB media playback, no fancy sound. Unfortunately, I couldn't get rid of the weird shiny texture on the image projection. Pros: 1. It appears to be TRUE 720r, not 480r with "Support" 720r. My FireTV Stick recognized this automatically and played the video in 720p.2. Very light and compact, comparable in size to a small smartphone.3. Casting distance is very good. At only 4 feet I was able to get around 40 inches of screen. 4. Black colors look amazing in a dark room because they don't render any color at all. greyish black. 5. Consumes almost no energy. I ran it AND my FireTV Stick on my 20,000mah battery for 4 hours and my battery was still over 80%. 6. Excellent thermal performance with no fan noise. Doesn't heat up. just warm 7. Bright enough in a very dark room The darker the better I've seen worse with other pico projectors Vampire. That was the main reason I had to send it back. I could not concentrate me. I tried it on my canvas and on the walls. There were some settings you could tweak to reduce it a bit, such as: B. the green-blue balance, or in a very dark room, it helps to reduce the brightness a little. But it never goes away entirely. I think for some it might be ok. 2. Sometimes you may see a very faint series of "rings" extending from the center of the image. Difficult to notice but sometimes occurs. For me this was not decisive as it was only occasionally visible.3. The sound is very weak. The 3.5mm jack can be connected to speakers, but I had to use a small +80% gain amplifier to get acceptable output. The keystone correction introduces some distortion around the edges, but that doesn't bother me too much.5. Approximately from time to time, the picture might be covered with static electricity for 1 second. It was somewhat tolerable because it wasn't consistent. In 4 hours of play testing I watched it 6 times.

Pros
  • Smallest and lightest
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

Scanning laser MEMS; no focusing optics. The future of projectors.
