Review on 📝 School Smart - 85250 Newsprint Drawing Paper, Lightweight 30 lb, 8.5 x 11 Inches, Pack of 500 Sheets by Doris Tran

Determined to create a newspaper style retirement invitation. When I heard they make "Newsprint" I was very excited to make it look authentic. I was looking for printed newsprint and came across this bundle of paper. I only needed about 25 sheets, but at about $8 I couldn't go wrong. The paper arrived quickly and I was happy to print it. During lunch I decided to try it on the printer we have at work. It got stuck after 2 seconds. I deleted it, tried again. Jam. I have every "type of paper" tried, which was in the printer, about 12 settings. It got stuck every time and the ink didn't stick to the paper and dirty hands. Then I decided to try about 6 other office printers with all their settings. They all got stuck and the ink didn't drain no matter what I tried. I was very frustrated because I couldn't understand why it was being sold as printing paper when it requires so much effort to actually work. I checked out some of the reviews and no one seems to have had any issues so I literally have no idea why I had. I even asked our local IT specialist for help but he couldn't do it. So I know I wasn't the only one who screwed up haha. Anyway, my friend said he thought our printers might be too sensitive for thin paper, and because it doesn't go in and out directly, the paper gets stuck. Can he be right? He decided to try it on his laser printer for me at home. Although it still got stuck every few pages, it finally worked! I have experienced such relief. I love the idea of this printable paper and once I (and I, I mean, my friend, haha) got it working with a home printer, I loved the result. but the keyword was "once". not as simple a process as one would like. I know there are other uses for this paper, but the low score is due to all the difficulties I've personally had in printing.
