After reading horror stories about rear bumper mounted bike carriers on caravans I looked at two options for tongue mounting. I liked the look of it and it seemed flexible to adapt to any bikes I wanted to take with me. Installation was easy (you need to remove the jack) and there are many ways to move the hooks and anchors. At home I take off the top and store it indoors. From the moment I transfer the top to the trailer to the moment the bike is secured = about 15 minutes. An added bonus is that you get very little road dust/dirt on the bike in this configuration, unlike with a rear trailer. Note. This will not work if you have a manual jack, you must have an electric jack.
