We have two very undemanding dogs who bark at anything that goes by or approaches. No matter what I tried, I couldn't bring about any peace (or stillness) other than a shock collar. When I saw this product on a flash deal I thought it was a great price and wanted to try it, maybe this is the answer. Much to our surprise, one dog now whimpers slightly when it sees the other dog, but doesn't bark at all. Our second dog no longer barks at all when he sees another dog or a bike. My boys also seem happier if they keep playing or going for a walk instead of barking like they used to when a dog or person comes by. This product feels good in my hand. It comes with a horn button and a button that sends a soft sound to dogs. Very easy and simple. We hardly need to use the mute button. Dogs are used to hearing the horn button and know that if we have to press it momentarily it means "no barking". We are very happy with this product and have already recommended it to a friend as a suggestion for their dog. . We recommend it to you as a safe, humane solution.
